FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY OWNERS & DEVELOPERS
Host a data center alongside
your renewable energy project.
Explore potential electricity sales and hosting income at your U.S. energy site. PlentyField develops, invests in and operates containerized data centers, supplying computing capacity to customers.
We assess the land, power arrangements and fiber together with the proposed computing requirements.
ANOTHER USE FOR YOUR SITE & POWER
Explore the opportunity
alongside your core business.
Electricity sales
A potential local customer for generation, including power affected by curtailment or export constraints.
Hosting income
Potential income from an agreed area of land, with access and responsibilities defined in writing.
Use existing infrastructure
Assess how the location, electrical infrastructure and connectivity could support a new use.
Benefits depend on site suitability, computing demand and agreed commercial terms.
COULD YOUR SITE WORK?
Start with the location.
Then assess the whole picture.
We welcome operating renewable plants and projects in development. You do not need every technical answer before contacting us.
Plant generation capacity and electricity available to a data center are different. We assess the amount, timing and conditions of supply.
Share a site or discuss a portfolioGeneration and available supply
Wind, solar, hydro or mixed generation, with potential supply to a new on-site customer. Curtailment is one reason to enquire, not a requirement.
Land and safe access
Space for containers, electrical and cooling equipment, delivery and maintenance. The overall installation needs more land than the container footprint.
Fiber and a workable connection
Existing fiber or a credible delivery plan, plus feasible electrical and commercial arrangements. An export connection does not automatically permit grid imports.
HOW THE ARRANGEMENT WORKS
You bring the site.
We develop the computing.
The owner shares site and generation information and helps agree land and electricity arrangements. PlentyField assesses, develops, invests in and operates the data center, subject to project viability.
Specialist partners can support connections, electrical design and delivery. The proposal identifies the necessary works, who pays for them and each party’s responsibilities.
Customers buy computing capacity from PlentyField. Owners do not need to purchase servers or operate the data center.
Fiber connects the installation to computing customers.
Illustrative arrangement, not an engineering design or operating project. Grid supply, storage or backup are assessed where needed; they are not automatically included.
Reliable computing needs more than occasional surplus power.
Renewable output varies. We assess how generation, permitted grid electricity and any supporting systems could meet the proposed service. The supply arrangement must fit the customer’s workload and availability requirements.
Understand the power and cooling approachHow we approach sustainability
Project planning includes documented electricity sourcing and measurement of energy use and operating performance. Renewable electricity attributes must support any renewable-use claims.
Our cooling approach avoids ongoing evaporative cooling-water consumption in normal operation. The complete design and any supporting systems are assessed for each installation.

Before you enquire.
Does the plant need to have curtailed electricity?
No. We also consider potential electricity sales, constrained exports and hosting opportunities. Curtailment means reducing generation when its output cannot be accommodated or delivered economically. It is one factor in the assessment, not a requirement.
Can you consider projects still in development?
Yes. Share the location, development stage and expected timing. We assess operating sites and projects in development, including any connection, land or permitting conditions still to be resolved.
What happens when renewable output falls?
The proposed computing service needs a suitable supply arrangement. We assess generation patterns, permitted grid supply and any supporting systems. Storage or backup may be considered; neither is automatically included. Occasional surplus power alone may not be suitable, and customer workloads cannot be assumed to be interruptible.
Do we need fiber already installed?
Existing fiber is useful. We can also assess a credible connection plan, including the provider, delivery timing and service requirements. Proximity to a fiber route does not confirm that a suitable service is available.
Who invests in and operates the data center?
PlentyField’s role is to develop, invest in and operate the computing infrastructure, subject to project viability and agreements. The site owner is not being asked to buy servers or run the data center. Responsibility for electrical upgrades and other site works is agreed for each project.
How are land and electricity payments agreed?
The proposal sets out the land or hosting arrangement and electricity supply terms, including responsibilities, costs and conditions. Potential income depends on the project; we do not promise a tariff, minimum purchase or guaranteed reduction in curtailment.
Who owns the renewable energy certificates?
The parties must agree who receives the renewable electricity attributes, including renewable energy certificates where applicable. Renewable-use claims must be supported by the attributes retained or acquired; locating beside a renewable plant alone is not enough.
Can incentives improve the economics?
Potentially. Eligibility depends on the particular energy equipment, ownership, sourcing and applicable rules. Incentives require project-specific review and are not assumed for the entire data center or computing equipment.
Can we discuss a portfolio or introduce an owner?
Yes. Select “Portfolio discussion” and give the regions covered. We will ask for site-level information where useful. Each site needs its own assessment. Brokers and introducers can use this form, but representation, protection and any compensation require the applicable separate agreement.
What information do you need initially?
Your contact details, company or project organization, approximate location and relationship to the project are enough to start. Add generation type, project stage and capacity if known. Technical details are optional; confidential contracts and generation spreadsheets are not needed for the initial enquiry.
What happens after we enquire?
You receive a reference and an email copy. PlentyField reviews the information and contacts you about suitability and any further details needed. A proposal follows only if the site, supply and computing requirements can be aligned. An enquiry does not reserve capacity, approve a site or create an agreement.
